Welcome To Case's Column

Let me say a big welcome to all of you for joining me here. I'm going to call these blog meetings Case's Column. I wanted to use "Corner", but that was already taken. Since 2008, it's been a real privilege to come on here and share some of my life with you, and it's a big world where we live.

In these blogs, I'll just speak whatever is on my mind, but we will be playing within the rules here. I may pick a particular topic, point out an event, or shoot the breeze. I'm a little bit of an essayist at times, so I'll just speak what's on my mind, and I might tell a story or two. Or, I might spew out an opinion or three. There will be some serious moments, some tender, some poignant, but there will also be those moments that you'll just bust out laughing. But, hopefully, everything will be in good fun here. And, of course, there's a place below for your comments and thoughts as we go along here. So feel free to join me for the ride -- I sure as heck hope I'm doing this right and not making any mistakes.

Thanks for taking your time in reading Case's Column. Hopefully, you'll enjoy being entertained by it as much as I've enjoyed putting these writings together. And thanks for the time you spend in City-Data.com, where it's great to be alive!

Don't Be Surprised If We See A New Political Party Arise Very Soon

Posted 06-20-2022 at 05:51 PM by case44

Usually, the people with the most common sense are Republicans (Patriots and conservatives, not really the RINOs). Given the events our nation has experienced since the stolen 2020 election, some folks who call themselves Democrats are actually going for a change of heart.

If you've been paying attention to things (and that means rejecting the Fake News networks and perusing more objective sources like The Epoch Times, Newsmax, Dr. Steve Turley, and One America News), then what has happened in our great country is waking so many people up. And, yes, even folks on the left are seeing the light. You see, there are moderates in the left camp in our country who really don't side with Joe Biden* or Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez or Barack Obama or Chuck Schumer or Nancy Pelosi or any other of their ilk. They just happen to also be hard-working, honest taxpayers who are just a little more socially liberal than the average conservative, but they can see, like the rest of us, that things are more expensive, crime is higher, values have been trashed, and so forth. Biden* and his termites continue to murder our economy and destroy our standing in the world, not to mention refuse to be transparent with us. As a matter of fact, Americans are still waiting for Sleepy Joe* to unite our country....

[Sound of crickets chirping everywhere]

I'm not holding my breath, folks. Joe* is more likely to take another fall on the Air Force One steps before he even tries to "unite" our country. As for today's Democrat Party, it had been taken over by far-left, radical extremists a long time ago, and people all over are getting tired of them. They are not America First people. To think that a few years ago, we had a booming economy, Donald J. Trump in office, and the burgeoning MAGA movement that was a harbinger for encouraging things to come.

A stolen election, plus a subsequent rigged Georgia Senate runoff changed all of that.

Now, I refuse to be convinced that all is going to be lost. Other countries in this world are seeing victories for Populism in many elections, while globalism is coming up the big loser. Globalism has failed. Audits of votes in several states have revealed irregularities in 2020. Recent primaries are showing many Patriots winning in a number of areas, including places that previously voted blue. People are fed up with the far-left.

And many Democrats, including Tulsi Gabbard, are actually showing support for more conservative ideas in the midst of the far-left's miserable failures in D.C. You've no doubt heard about Elon Musk and the decision he's made to move to the Republican side. It's been speculated by the late Dr. Gerard Lameiro that a push for a moderate party could well happen if RINOs continue to be pushed out of Republican life and centrist Dems can no longer support radicalism. And moderates have had no real voice in recent years. Media outlets continue to ignore them. Even conservatives like me would support the advent of a new centrist type of party which could put today's Democrats into a distant third place. If such ever were to become a viable party in the future, then Republicans (Patriots) could face someone more formidable and not have our country feel threatened all the time. I miss the days of disagreeing with a few things and then shake hands and let it go. Just saying.

Every eighty years, our nation usually sees major shifting in political structure. It happened in the 1860s, and it did again in the 1940s. That most recent was eighty years ago, friends. Maybe, just maybe, the time has come for change. Perhaps being a Democrat for what it's become isn't particularly cool anymore. Democrats are more divided today than they've ever been. Not exactly cool, you know. Being a conservative, on the other hand, is cool no matter the situation. Nevertheless, it might as well be 1864 all over again.

That was a period where America was in a civil war. Like it or not, we are in one again.

I'm actually amazed that there haven't been more rumblings out there about this idea. You'd think that many folks would be sick and tired of the Marxist left which has polluted and desecrated today's Democrat camp.
