Welcome To Case's Column

Let me say a big welcome to all of you for joining me here. I'm going to call these blog meetings Case's Column. I wanted to use "Corner", but that was already taken. Since 2008, it's been a real privilege to come on here and share some of my life with you, and it's a big world where we live.

In these blogs, I'll just speak whatever is on my mind, but we will be playing within the rules here. I may pick a particular topic, point out an event, or shoot the breeze. I'm a little bit of an essayist at times, so I'll just speak what's on my mind, and I might tell a story or two. Or, I might spew out an opinion or three. There will be some serious moments, some tender, some poignant, but there will also be those moments that you'll just bust out laughing. But, hopefully, everything will be in good fun here. And, of course, there's a place below for your comments and thoughts as we go along here. So feel free to join me for the ride -- I sure as heck hope I'm doing this right and not making any mistakes.

Thanks for taking your time in reading Case's Column. Hopefully, you'll enjoy being entertained by it as much as I've enjoyed putting these writings together. And thanks for the time you spend in City-Data.com, where it's great to be alive!

Will Case Support TEXIT? Yes, If We Don't Get Our Country Back

Posted 06-22-2022 at 07:07 PM by case44

Folks, this plain, flat-out goes without saying: We need to get the midterms right.

And by that, I mean, Republicans are going to need to sweep practically every election out there. Where the primaries are concerned, Patriots are rising up and, in many races, are beating RINOs in the vote tallies. It's an encouraging sign for the November midterms. Now, realistically, the Good Guys might not win 'em all, but we hope to get as many as we can if the RINOs don't mess them up. What's to come is a referendum on Joe Biden*, the stolen 2020 election, and all the baggage that has been dumped on us ever since the Democrat Party and the CCP gave us COVID. It's a referendum on the current direction of America, and none of it has been pretty. We are now in Day 595 of this national emergency known as the "Biden Administration". You see what's been happening. The economy is in shambles. Crime is at an all-time high in many cities. Guns are threatened to be taken away from law-abiding citizens. Nobody wants to work (and how the hell did we get to that situation?). Airline cancellations. Vaccine mandates. Pipelines shut down, putting gas and energy prices into the stratosphere. The southern border wide open (and our so-called "president" still won't address it). Food processing plants being set on fire purposefully. Baby food shortages. I could go on and on, but you folks already know that it's just been bad news in what's become a Bad News administration. He's Bad News Biden*.

Amidst all the crises (which, certainly, could have been avoided), we have midterm elections coming up in a few months. As much as I love Old Glory and these United States, a call to secession suddenly is in play, as conditions on Capitol Hill are so bad that some folks don't believe that Washington is fixable. And they may be right on that. Several states, including my home state of Texas, are considering secession because people are tired of left-wing politicians (and RINOs) with an agenda to control and mesmerize the populace, along with a fundamental transformation of America into something it clearly was never designed to be.

I'm sure some of you have heard of TEXIT. That would be Texas' version of BREXIT. There is talk going on right now that such would be considered for a future vote, possibly as early as next year. Ol' Case is on board with the idea, but only if we cannot achieve the rescue of America. Democrats have become more extreme, more angry, and more insane than ever. Republicans must recapture the House and Senate, and the former will be much easier than the latter. Regarding the Senate, the chaff desperately needs to be separated from the wheat. As a matter of fact, the chaff needs to be removed entirely!

If we cannot be a free country, then I say, "Bring on TEXIT!" And, for that matter, bring on any other state's secession if we intend to distance from Joe Biden*, Kamala Harris* (now there's a life that needs badly to be changed), and today's Democrat disease that is infecting our great country. And don't even get me started on cancel culture. That camp can kiss my tookus.

On City-Data, you find all kinds of people. You have people on the right side of the fence, others on it, and others slightly left of it, and many more who are far, far left. Oh, and if you look close enough, you might even find a low-information voter hither and thether, and that person may be the most dangerous person of all. If you've been on our Politics forums, then you know exactly what I'm talking about. People all over America are demanding honesty from those who serve us (supposedly). Our government is now the laughingstock of the world, and rightly so, given the penchant for irresponsibility and fecklessness that they possess. The 2020 presidential election, indeed, was stolen, and anybody who tells you or me otherwise is pathologically lying and willfully ignorant. Chances are, those people are okay with the very idea of Americans no longer having free and fair elections. That said, some progress has been made in some states because some Patriots and moderates have actually stood up and done something. Regardless, Patriots and anyone to the right of the far left needs to all be standing up and declaring that enough is enough. Too much is at stake here. America does not need to become another Venezuela. It needs to be America!!!!!

While some galoots out there will continue to vote Democrat, usually out of their own hatred or sheer ignorance, other lefties who won't side with a Cortez or a Pelosi or a Biden* will show a little more conviction and, maybe, some common sense. It's up to us to determine what kind of country we want. I know I've shared some very strong things here and in a few other posts I've thrown at you through the years, but I'm fed up with Washington. You should be, too.

And if it takes secession to accomplish a means of staying free from government oppression, then that's what we must do.
