Welcome To Case's Column

Let me say a big welcome to all of you for joining me here. I'm going to call these blog meetings Case's Column. I wanted to use "Corner", but that was already taken. Since 2008, it's been a real privilege to come on here and share some of my life with you, and it's a big world where we live.

In these blogs, I'll just speak whatever is on my mind, but we will be playing within the rules here. I may pick a particular topic, point out an event, or shoot the breeze. I'm a little bit of an essayist at times, so I'll just speak what's on my mind, and I might tell a story or two. Or, I might spew out an opinion or three. There will be some serious moments, some tender, some poignant, but there will also be those moments that you'll just bust out laughing. But, hopefully, everything will be in good fun here. And, of course, there's a place below for your comments and thoughts as we go along here. So feel free to join me for the ride -- I sure as heck hope I'm doing this right and not making any mistakes.

Thanks for taking your time in reading Case's Column. Hopefully, you'll enjoy being entertained by it as much as I've enjoyed putting these writings together. And thanks for the time you spend in City-Data.com, where it's great to be alive!

Regards,

America Not Nearly As Prosperous Now Under Biden*

Posted 11-24-2022 at 01:31 PM by case44

If you want to wax nostalgic, then just look back three years. That was a time when America had prosperity at a level unparalleled in history, and many folks were in the workforce at levels never before seen. The economy was thriving, and businesses were bringing in new workers at a frenetic pace.

Ah, the good times under President Donald J. Trump. I still miss that.

That's the thing, folks. We could have still had this today, but now, it's all but gone. Democrats worked overtime two years ago to steal a presidential election and force into office the travesty that you see on display now on Capitol Hill, along with the atrocities. The last two years have been an absolute nightmare for our country. Inflation, high gas prices, the aforementioned economy having now been essentially murdered, illegal aliens running loose, crime higher than ever, on and on. Bad stuff. The Cheaters. The Bad Guys. That's today's Democrat Party for you, and at the moment, they still run our country and our lives. The news media cheers this so-called "administration" as it wastes our time covering up the news instead of covering the news. Sadly, that sorry news media can't even hide their biases anymore. Republicans, Patriots, and conservatives have been stifled and silenced until the encouraging takeover of Twitter by our friend, Elon Musk. At least, the recent midterm elections have not exactly been a total loss, as we've seen several places where Republicans have made huge gains. And that, ladies and gentlemen, includes California and New York, two states you wouldn't have expected to see such gains. Also, Miami-Dade in Florida has gone from solid blue to solid red in just a few short years. Now, if we can just red-pill New England and Oregon....

Folks, on this Thanksgiving, inflation caused by Joe Biden* has put a tremendous burden on many Americans. As I write this, there are some families in different parts of this country who couldn't even afford to buy a turkey or everything else that goes with it on their respective tables, because the items were just too expensive. People's paychecks have been getting smaller while prices of groceries have gotten much bigger. Depending on which state you live in, the difference between some regarding prices is utterly staggering. Sean Hannity said on his radio show that there are some folks that will be having pizza for Thanksgiving because of Biden's* inflation. Pizza. Not turkey or ham like many Americans are. I hurt for those people, and what I would give to be able to provide for these needy families a real Thanksgiving dinner right now, just for them. Pizza needs to be for tomorrow when some folks will be watching college football. Or it should be at or near a shopping mall where some Americans are going out to do some Christmas searches (if they can even afford those).

I'll be real frank with you: This country does not need to be fundamentally transformed.

What does need to be fundamentally transformed is our U.S. government. Fire Joe Biden*! Fire Kamala Harris*! Fire all the corrupt clowns who keep running America into the ground.

The Democrats and the CCP have all but taken away our democracy, our free speech, our individual liberties, and even our immune systems, thanks in jest to COVID. Great. It didn't have to be like this. Oh, and to top all that, Americans are going to get less on their tax returns in 2023. That's right, sports fans, less.

If nothing else, Republicans did win back the House of Representatives whether the Fake News likes it or not. At least, President Asterisk will likely be getting investigated in his son's China dealings and other garbage, much like what the Cheating Democrats did to Trump during his presidency over things that turned out to be false. God bless the few Patriots we do have in our government who are willing to fight for us, not against us like the wishy-washy establishment. Why anyone in this country would bother to vote Democrat after the events of the last two years is still beyond this writer's comprehension.

Pray for the families who need a real Thanksgiving dinner instead of pizza or something else. They're more deserving than even I am of having the assurance of a good holiday season in trying times.

^^^ So right, Pamela. Plus, he still hasn't wished us a Happy Thanksgiving or a Merry Christmas. What president would ever ignore that? He can't even pardon a turkey without attempting to molest a child.

And no, sports fans, Joe* is not going to unite the country.

At least, with Trump, you know that he treated the American people with dignity and respect. He showed empathy and compassion. So what if he razzed his detractors? I can't wait until his next rally.

What have we gotten with Joe Biden*? No respect at all. All he's done is call the American people names. Aside from two interstate corridors being passed, what good thing has this dementia patient done for our country?

    Crickets.
