Going to church, reading the bible, listening to Christian music will not advance your spiritual life. These activities may give you more understanding but until you are ready to lay down your life and take up your cross this leads nowhere.

What I am talking about is the sacrifice of self to advance the cause of Jesus Christ in the world. There is a destiny that God had for each of us that only we can personally discover. We can discover it only by detaching from the world and making ourselves available for the Holy Spirit. By detaching from the world--now you have time--the commodity that most Christians are not willing to give.

Jesus said, "Self-help is not help at all. Self-sacrifice is the way, to finding yourself, your true self. (Matthew 16:25)

"God has planted eternity in the human heart." (Ecclesiastes 3:11)

"Anyone who lets himself be distracted from the work I plan for him is not fit for the Kingdom of God." (Luke 9:62)

"The most important thing is that I complete my mission, the work that the Lord Jesus gave me." (Acts 20:24)

"We have been sent to speak for Christ." (2 Corinthians 5:20)

"We are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus, to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." (Ephesians 2:10)

The Supernatural Weapon Of Our Testimony

Posted 09-26-2023 at 07:33 PM by Albert Finch

Jesus came so that by covering our sins with His blood we would now, being free from guilt and condemnation, be available, through our Christ calling, to advance His Kingdom throughout the earth.

"And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their TESTIMONY." - Revelation 12:11

You must hold fast to the things that you receive from God!

How can you hold fast to them?

You hold fast by the blood of the Lamb and the word of your TESTIMONY.

Whenever we share a TESTIMONY of what the power of Jesus has done -- any miracle, healing, salvation account -- the Spirit of prophecy is loosed over the people who are hearing it. This means the Spirit of God is actively moving on them to create faith.

"The TESTIMONY of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy." - Revelation 19:10

This says that if God has done it once, He is ready to do it again. The spoken or written record of whatever Jesus has done carries the prophetic anointing to cause a change in events in the spirit realm so that the miracle spoken of can happen again.

"Sing to Him a new song; play skillfully, and shout for joy." - Psalm 33:3

Our new song is to be a song of all God has done for us. Truly, your most effective TESTIMONY is to brag to other people about what God has done for you this week. Tell people what He did just yesterday, or even this morning. Then your song will always be new.

Joshua 21:45 says, "Not a word failed of any good thing which the Lord had spoken to the house of Israel. All came to pass."

This confidence in God to fulfill what He promised was repeated by Joshua at the end of his life in his farewell address. Joshua repeated these same words, declaring his personal TESTIMONY and reminding the people,

"...not one thing has failed of all the good things which the Lord your God spoke concerning you. All have come to pass for you; not one word of them has failed" (Joshua 23:14).

We can rise up in the same confidence Joshua possessed and declare our TESTIMONY. Today, assemble the words of God's faithfulness from your past and begin to speak them into your future. We were not given these testimonies to remember them only as documents of history. These words have been given to us as supernatural weapons to send out into our approaching future.

A loss of consecration to bear fruit that remains for His Kingdom results in the loss of power. And a loss of TESTIMONY signifies the loss of the presence of God.
