Welcome To Case's Column

Let me say a big welcome to all of you for joining me here. I'm going to call these blog meetings Case's Column. I wanted to use "Corner", but that was already taken. Since 2008, it's been a real privilege to come on here and share some of my life with you, and it's a big world where we live.

In these blogs, I'll just speak whatever is on my mind, but we will be playing within the rules here. I may pick a particular topic, point out an event, or shoot the breeze. I'm a little bit of an essayist at times, so I'll just speak what's on my mind, and I might tell a story or two. Or, I might spew out an opinion or three. There will be some serious moments, some tender, some poignant, but there will also be those moments that you'll just bust out laughing. But, hopefully, everything will be in good fun here. And, of course, there's a place below for your comments and thoughts as we go along here. So feel free to join me for the ride -- I sure as heck hope I'm doing this right and not making any mistakes.

Thanks for taking your time in reading Case's Column. Hopefully, you'll enjoy being entertained by it as much as I've enjoyed putting these writings together. And thanks for the time you spend in City-Data.com, where it's great to be alive!

Regards,

True Colors And Poor Judgment: The Election 2020 Chaos

Posted 11-05-2020 at 06:59 PM by case44

I tell you, I struggled to come up with a decent title for this writing, given all the events that have happened since Wednesday morning. This was an election which, under a normal set of circumstances (In other words, my country not being held hostage by COVID-19), would have seen a landslide victory for Republicans and President Donald J. Trump.

It should have happened because of the way Democrats have not only behaved, but also, how they've been exposed for the frauds and hypocrites that they are. The flip-flopping. The lies. The deceit. The besmirchment. The violence. The threats. On and on, just anti-America negativity and childishness from today's Democrat Party. They deserve to lose elections. All America needed was for Republicans to hold the Senate (and, hopefully, add a seat or two), win back the House, and re-elect President Trump for a second term.

So, we go to Tuesday night and, like in any other election, we wait and watch for results from different states. My television was tuned either to One America News or Newsmax. On the internet, I had it on Fox News for a while, looking at results on their website. I had begun noticing that some things were not right, and that states which Trump had a commanding lead were not called immediately. In addition, it looked like the media was more eager to call states for Trump's opponent, Joe Biden, a certain former Vice President from a forgettable administration. If you'd put a Las Vegas wager on Fox News making big mistakes in calling states too hastily, then I would have previously said you were crazy. Well, lo and behold, before the night was through, I had found out that they called Virginia way too soon. At that point, this writer stopped using Fox's website and moved over to Newsmax.

And kept it there.

Later that night, after tuning in to Dr Steve Turley on YouTube with encouraging updates, I found out that Fox had mistakenly called Arizona for Joe Biden. What???! Before many of the votes would be counted? Oh, but Virginia was still in play and Trump had been gaining an advantage, even in Loudon County where it usually goes blue, until things would fizzle out and Virginia ended up voting Biden. But Fox prematurely calling Arizona was a big mistake, since you don't really know how it's going to go, as it takes a while for that state to finish its counting.

Ladies and gentlemen, Fox News has lost all credibility. That night where Americans need information, accurate information, credible information, we simply did not get it. Fox had slowly started to become the agenda-driven anti-Trump machine that CNN and MSNBC have been for the past few years, and on Tuesday, the fit finally hit the shan. It's bad enough that the media in this country is just not working for the people, and our citizenry is on a need-to-know basis. Is there no honesty anymore? Poor election coverage is going to lead to fewer viewers. And while Fox still has a few good shows on their main channel, all the while having a better business network than CNBC, you can clearly see a decline. They've gone further to the left at the worst possible time. I would implore Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham, Tucker Carlson, and Greg Gutfeld to consider leaving the network. Really. It's just not worth it anymore.

Meanwhile, my beloved America is waiting. Waiting for counting to conclude in Nevada and Arizona. Waiting, also, for legal challenges in Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Nevada in the wake of voter fraud in those places. This mail-in crap has been the cause of it all, not to mention poor election rules in a few big cities. Suddenly, we now find Joe Biden and Donald Trump with a close race on hold, something none of us would have expected. It's the Republicans versus The Cheaters. That's just the showing of true colors of today's Dems, who do not resemble John Kennedy or Martin Luther King. The left in this country is so angry and so desperate in their quest to steal an election that they know full well they've lost. And Mark Levin even said that this election has actually been a disaster for the Democrats. The aforementioned Republicans should be able to hold on to the Senate and will also gain as many as fourteen seats to the House, though that won't be enough to flip it. So, we still have to deal with that gosh-awful Nancy Pelosi unless some other developments happen with the House seat votes.

We should have had a winner late Tuesday night.

We thought we did.

But the Cheaters would strike.

I hate waiting. President Trump deserves four more years, and America must still stand as the greatest country in the world. Pray for this nation, that, together, we stand strong against evil forces, and that we move forward as one glorious nation under God.

Because of some corrupt Pennsylvania election workers (and State Supreme Court justices), the U.S. Supreme Court is looking into Pennsylvania's election structure. It appears that federal law has been violated on the part of the Pennsylvania justices. More from Dr Steve Turley.

In addition, Twitter has disrespected the office of the President of the United States. They have also disrespected President Trump by insisting on restricting free speech on things they disagree with through their ugly bias. Let him speak!

Message to all Supreme Court Justices: Don't give in to left-wingers' threats. Don't. In fact, you should be reporting those to Bill Barr. You're there to interpret the Law. Don't let America down if the important decision is in your hands.

Folks, there's still a chance that Trump can win. In fact, he just got North Carolina, along with Senator Thom Tillis for the victory. More still to go. Investigations and recounts are coming.
