Welcome To Case's Column

Let me say a big welcome to all of you for joining me here. I'm going to call these blog meetings Case's Column. I wanted to use "Corner", but that was already taken. Since 2008, it's been a real privilege to come on here and share some of my life with you, and it's a big world where we live.

In these blogs, I'll just speak whatever is on my mind, but we will be playing within the rules here. I may pick a particular topic, point out an event, or shoot the breeze. I'm a little bit of an essayist at times, so I'll just speak what's on my mind, and I might tell a story or two. Or, I might spew out an opinion or three. There will be some serious moments, some tender, some poignant, but there will also be those moments that you'll just bust out laughing. But, hopefully, everything will be in good fun here. And, of course, there's a place below for your comments and thoughts as we go along here. So feel free to join me for the ride -- I sure as heck hope I'm doing this right and not making any mistakes.

Thanks for taking your time in reading Case's Column. Hopefully, you'll enjoy being entertained by it as much as I've enjoyed putting these writings together. And thanks for the time you spend in City-Data.com, where it's great to be alive!

So You Want A Rock And A Hippopotamus For Christmas?

Posted 11-24-2021 at 09:10 PM by case44

As Thanksgiving for another year approaches, one couldn't help but count his or her blessings, if for no other reason than we're all glad just to still have a life. With each waking day, if we still see God's Earth and can take another breath and endure another heartbeat, then we've got much to be thankful for.

While a stupid puppet show keeps taking residence in a corrupt Washington, D.C., along with the most incompetent cast of characters more out of place today than yesterday, Americans face the most expensive Thanksgiving arrangements ever endured by its people. It also faces a challenging Christmas season in relation to the ability to find the perfect gift for a family member or friend. Or, perhaps, the ability to just find what someone in your life specifically requested. The people that Bumbling Joe Biden* appointed as Secretary of this and Secretary of that have no aptitude or knowledge of the cabinet they're supposed to be "serving". Pete Buttigieg, for example, is just not cut out for transportation. Bootygag knows nothing about it. Yet, he is responsible for this supply chain crisis which is plaguing our nation's ports, caused in some parts by a stupid vaccine mandate which is only causing damage to businesses and lives. Some retail and grocery stores are experiencing lower stock on shelves, or, in some places, emptiness altogether. Inflation is choking us like a professional wrestler on a midget. Bumbling Biden* is also wrecking the oil and energy business because of a phony fairytale myth that encourages government waste.

It makes you wonder if Charlie Brown will get a present...........or a rock. Maybe someone out there ordered a hippopotamus for Christmas..................and may have to wait a while if it were to come from another country because our ports have become disrupted. What got us to this point? The Bad Guys. The left. The cheaters with the D next to their names. Joe Biden*, Kamala (Comical?) Harris*, Jen Psaki (Peppermint Patty), Nancy Pelosi, and Chuck Schumer were just some of the main cast members to hoist their sinister savagery on innocent and hard-working Americans.

Those of you who have been praying for America, please keep doing so. We need to count our blessings, but one must only wonder where.......and when..........this madness on Capitol Hill will reach its bitter end. Democrats do not know how to build economies, nor do they offer any solutions to whatever problems we have. They just create one crisis after another.

Maybe the recent elections that just happened might actually offer a gift bigger than anything Santa Claus would have in his sleigh.
