hunterseat df: Hunter Seat Equitation is a division that is judged on the ability and the style of the rider. The riders can be judged both over fences and on the flat.
Although true, hunters DO eat, at least the skilled ones do, my name derives from the world of horses.
And because the word hunter is in my name, people automatically think I'm a guy. Not even close.
Whenever I meet someone named Hunter I have to bite my tongue to keep from saying "That's my name, too!"

Washing Machine drain leech line:
Tomorrow I will enclose the whole shebang with fabric and fill the ditch the rest of the way with dirt. It's been quite a chore but I'm really happy with how it's turned out. When the house sells I can be confident the new owner won't have washer drain back-up like I had. I have an amazing plumber friend who's been monitoring my progress and advising me. Thanks to Anthony! Plus I have gravel left over. Awesome! I'll easily use that up!
Got my taxes done today. Almost. I need one more form.
Did a little work on the camper. Made an appointment to have the battery circuit troubleshot. There seems to be a short somewhere. I did a visual check behind the two receptacles and the panel. Didn't see anything obvious.
Ran a couple of errands but all-in-all I don't feel like I got enough done. At least I finished the drain gravel. That was a biggee.
Did I mention the mini-split was installed yesterday and I went skating? 10K baby! On quads! Such great exercise and I really enjoy it.
I just got an invite to hike Five Fingers and do a shot of Bailey's at the top. Hard to pass that up!!
- Dig 1 ditch, 25ft long, 3+ ft deep, about 2ft wide. (part of mine ran under a fence into the next lot)
- Line with landscape fabric, not the woven kind.
- Lay a bed of gravel.
- Lay perforated pipe. I used 2 sections of pipe that has fake gravel inside of a sock.
- Run ABS pipe from washer drain line to ditch and connect.
- Do a load of laundry and observe water drainage patterns.
- Adjust if necessary and do another load to verify corrections.
- Fill ditch with more gravel to cover pipe.
