Posted 07-27-2016 at 09:14 PM by IamCSpelch

Although plastic is not officially a part of the list of hazardous wastes, scientists think differently, urging reclassification of plastic due to its obvious danger and harmful effects to our environment.

You don’t need to be a scientist to figure this one out, however. We have long since been well-informed of the dangerous and long-term effects of plastic when improperly disposed. By improper disposal we mean the collective mindless discarding of plastic. We can’t help it, though....

Partaking of the living bread

Posted 07-26-2016 at 10:08 PM by Albert Finch (How Do I Advance My Spiritual Life?)

"And a great multitude followed Him, because they saw His miracles which He did on them that were diseased." John 6:2

Posted 07-26-2016 at 05:42 PM by homina12

I need to make a big change, and I worry that it's too late. My life is.....confused. Off course and in a thick fog. The fog won't lift on it's own, and I have four decades waiting that proves this is so. I have to burn through it somehow.

Somehow?

I don't have time or light to retrace the course I might have taken the past forty years, and I can't in one hazy moment leap across those 40 years either. If the answer lies back there I can't get to it,...

Its 2:00am. Do you know who to call for help?

Recently I had the chance to oversee a clients in a home purchase in one of Phoenix’s “no man’s land” communities. The property address was shown to be in one of the more desirable suburbs, but was actually physically located in a different town. This phenomenon occurs quite often here in the Valley of the Sun, and is often confusing to buyers. Buyers assume from the mailing address that the city provides municipal services, zoning guidelines, code enforcement and more, but that is not...
