My Inquiring Mind...

Posted 06-17-2008 at 09:14 PM by mams1559

... wants to know why others think the way they do. At times I feel like I understand someone and can relate to their point of view. Then something changes and that spark is gone. What has changed, me or them?

Have I offended or caused mis-trust to make them turn from me? Did they reveal their true self to my distaste for me to avoid them? My inquiring mind wants to know.

My inquiring mind wants to know are the bonds forged here true and lasting? Are they more than fair-weather...

Fun Wow!

Here in Mauston we were lucky. The water crested just at the road and into Riverside park a little ways. As for some of the towns around us, like Reedsburg, where my sister and an aunt and uncle live, Elroy, where a great aunt and some friends live, Union Center, where a cousin lives, Hillsboro, where my dentist is, Lake Delton, just to the south of us, Baraboo where my son and his family live, and oh so many other...

Do you ever eat too many peppermint patties?

They're my favorite treat. Got hooked because they're only 1 gram of fat per patty. Cool and minty. Who can resist? Figured it was a good way to have a treat and not go overboard.

But some days, I not only go overboard, I'm happily treading water in a sea of patties. 8, 9, 10 of them at least... Might as well of thrown caution to the wind and dived into that bowl of chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream I was craving. (small...
