Drinking water stations with addresses in Trinidad and their reported violations in the past:

LARRUPIN CAFE (Address: 1658 PATRICKS POINT DRIVE , Population served: 247, Surface water):
Company statement:
Violations occurred because timber harvesting upstream of Larrupin's surface water intake caused high turbidity (cloudiness from sediment) and overwhelmed Larrupin's treatment system. No City water is available in this area, nor is groundwater accessible, so surface water is the only available water source. The turbidity was not a health hazard (it is an aesthetic issue); nevertheless, Larrupin provided customers with bottled drinking water throughout the period of high turbidity.
The restaurant takes its compliance with all health and safety requirements very seriously. Larrupin Cafe has now successfully resolved all compliance related issues with the California Department of Health Services. The restaurant's treatment system has been completely replaced and is now meeting drinking water standards.
