Jack Daniels, an Individual Assistance Officer from FEMA Region 6, marks a home as destroyed by the Trigo Fire that struck the Sherwood Forest subdivision in Torrance County during the week of April 28 - May 3, 2008. Daniels, representing FEMA, is part of a Preliminary Damage Assessment Team comprised of representatives from Torrance County, the Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Services, State of New Mexico, and the U.S. Small Business Administration that conducted a survey of the damages on May 6th.
