A villager asks American Samoa government officials about better shelters to replace emergency dome tents distributed in the immediate aftermath of the September 29th tsunami. The government will remove debris from private communal village property, with FEMA paying 75 percent of the cost. Once debris is removed, larger tents with platform floors will be distributed to eligible families as an interim measure pending a long-term housing plan for disaster survivors.
