Deputy Administrator Rich Serino is handed coffee at a Salvation Army disaster recovery vehicle in Lexington, Kentucky. Serino had just met with representatives from volunteer organizations across the state, at the Salvation Army in Lexington. Participants from the Salvation Army, American Red Cross, Mennonites Disaster Service, Kentucky Baptists Men on Mission, Connectional Ministries, Kentucky United Methodist Conference, and Operations Intern National Relief Network discussed the importance of working together to meet the needs of flood survivors, and how to better coordinate that mission.
