This is one of my larger posts. Included in this set are photos of several neighborhoods throughout Lancaster that vary in size and age. I enjoyed exploring many of the city's neighborhoods this summer and wanted to share some of my remaining unpublished photos with the posters on this forum. Enjoy!
Clover Meadow
An established neighborhood located immediately south of Lancaster Middle School. The majority of homes in this area are situated within five cul-de-sacs and feature huge shade trees.
Colonial Estates
A middle-class neighborhood of homes built during the 1980s.
Lancaster Hills
A mature neighborhood located west of Dallas Avenue and south of Wintergreen Road in northern Lancaster.
Lancaster Terrace
An older neighborhood composed of homes built in the 1950s and 1960s. This was one of the first suburban-style subdivisions in the city of Lancaster.
Meadowview
This home is located in the recently completed Meadowview subdivision. With over 800 lots, it is one of the largest neighborhoods in the city.
Pleasant Manor Estates
This neighborhood is located in central Lancaster, north of Pleasant Run Road. It has an older section, with homes built primarily during the 1970s and a newer portion built in the 1990s. Most streets in Pleasant Manor have female names – Alicia, Nancy, Tracy, Becky, Rebecca, Stacia, Robin, and Linda.
Wellington Park North
A newer subdivision. Home construction in this area began in 2001 and much of it had been completed by the end of 2006.
Westwood
One of the newer subdivisions constructed along the Belt Line Road Corridor.
