Because of the misuse of the Constitution and deliberate attempts to "reread" the original intentions of the Constitution... the spirit of the Constitution (as anyone with half a brain will realize) is that Americans who give birth to Americans are by de facto American citizens... however "liberal" interpretations have said that anyone born on US soil is an American... thus illegals who trek over onto "US soil" and give birth basically "anchors" their family into the US... why anchoring? Because their kids could grow up (at this point they are US citizens) and "sponsor" their illegal parents in the US so they can all stay in the US... however, the truth is, many of these "American" children rarely ever sponsor their parents in the US as it is "costly" and so they all rely on "Amnesty" which grants American citizenship... ironic since if you do it legally, it could cost you tens of thousands of dollars and years of waiting... do it illegally and you get a "Welcome to America"... which one do you think we should encourage? Legal or illegal?
