I would implore and warn Democrats against doing this.

I don't think _anyone_ is going to have it easy in November - Obama, Romney, Newt, Paul or Santorum. It will be a dogfight and will also depend on how the economy is then (we are still months away). If Democrats push Santorum and with their "kind help" he becomes the nominee, then it's him vs. Obama. What if madman Santorum actually wins, with some quirk of fate?!! This maniac could be our next PRESIDENT! A shiver went down my spine just thinking about it.

Be careful, be very careful. You might be biting off more than what you can chew. Oh, please don't say Obama will blow Santorum out of the water and all that. That's just plain overconfidence. Nothing is guaranteed.

If you must push someone, push someone whom you can live with in the WH, in the event Obama doesn't make it.
