I thought I might add a few pics and some thoughts. I fit in this catagory, born in the 40's. Some of the pics I have go way back to 1894.

How many in this group remembers Terrell Wells. It stunk, but it was a lot of fun. Swimming, diving board, slide, swings over the water, kinda of like a water park today:
