That wasn't my idea... the house came with that to accommodate the stairwell.
I did consider using a wall oven there.

When I first saw it I was unsure but after a week or so the advantage is apparent.
Like bottom freezers it puts the refrigerator section right at best use level.

With the new/larger refr I have now I'm finding that the vertically challenged
find having the step stool nearby very convenient for working the freezer.

Is DesertSun around? He'll be pleased to know I went with the KK cabinets.
I've been as pleased with them as he said I would be.
