We live in a DEMOCRACY, Capitalism is a monetary policy, and should not usurp democracy. The system was not designed as some "indenturing program" driven by greed, avarice and the abuses that are entangled within the mentality of capitalism in its current form.

It is not complicated it is a matter that has interest and focus to discuss "details", sadly, something American people have groomed themselves not only to ignore, but to have short attention spans, often becoming confounded when details are discussed. Fact is: details is what our current system entails, when reviewed in perspective.

Think deeper !!!

(We can no longer function as a society with the old baby boomer, slap stick, one dimensional thinking, and the avoidance of engaging detail, nor can we any longer as a nation be a people, hung up on "words" without grasping their root meaning and broader application usages).

Democracy was never about that, it was about "Equality of person and individualism of person-hood as a citizen; Capitalism was not about do anything by any means to make money their self measurement, it was about a system where via capitalism each person can enjoin in the economic function and if by the basis of democratic principle, economic equilibrium would be a basis of making American's unshakably stable for generation upon generation, through "Equality of person and individualism of person-hood as a citizen's. and each person gets "one vote" and earn within a capital system which respect all of such elements. Not a system where wealthy people buy away the voice of the people, under pay the people as if inequity is the chosen aim and avoidance and/or prohibition is designed to defeat economic equilibrium
America should have no poor homeless people, nor should people work and not earn a standard of pay which affords them the stability of home and the care elements to meet a standard of quality.

It's OK, that you don't understand it, and its logical to consider many not care to explore perspectives, because this system was built on the wrong direction mentality of "greed", "abuse", "avarice" and such, which led it into slavery and indentured servitude.
Sadly, people still don't want to let go of a system that has been a disaster for the average person since its perversion of trying to push capitalism to usurp democracy, and trying to turn our Democracy into a Plutocracy, with every aim to try and create an embedded Aristocracy based within wealth hoarding.

As to socialism, every system is a form of socialism, we happen to be one of democratic programming with a capitalistic economic function. To understand that, one first has to understand what is a democracy!!! and to do so, one has to grasp what is "equality and why equality is foundational unto and within what is democracy; grasping and embracing that may help one to figure out what and how capitalism was a design to help create a system of generalized economic equilibrium". But, I'm sure that is far more than many want to grasp.
So many get hung up on "words", like "socialism", or "communism" - without understanding the root of the word.

The issues with systems of communism as a base form was and is within how the economics function, the same with systems of communal socialism, which does not have a "democratic component". Those system become authoritarian and dictatorial.

We are a Democracy, and within Governance, it functions because of REGULATORY GOVERNANCE !!!! We live and we learn where and when Regulatory Policies need modification.
We are at that time and place in society of the American Democracy where Regulatory Policy must expand itself, otherwise, Avarice will rip this nation apart as so many are too in favor of capitalism usurping democracy. Too many lust for an Oligarchic framework, where the wealthy control and manipulate the masses, thus in turn usurping the democratic rule of democracy, and taking away the voice of the people, by first taking and diminishing their means and options with indentured servant level wages.

Money comes with a responsibility, it is a government instituted instrument. There are responsibilities, and that entails the money working within the system, for the system and its citizens, all together working to make a more perfect democracy. -

IF people ever get of the delusion that brought the first waves of immigrants here, which was their so called claim to escape autocratic, and plutocratic systems, dictatorial systems. But quickly "greed set in", with the delusion of "every man can be a king", so the hoarding of Avarice driven madness has been eroding the democratic premise for centuries.

We don't pay the President of this Nation millions and 10's of millions to Preside in the Highest Office in this nation, and be the most powerful position and person in the global system of International Relations.
Therefore, what justification is there for paying a hired employee who holds the title CEO to be paid in such a manner as that which exist. They now pay themselves as if they are the new 20th and 21st Century Slave and Indentured Servant Masters. And they have proceeded to try and strip away any and all benefits, the same as former Slave /Indentured Servant Masters provided none.

As long as people think like the quoted poster, things will simply get worst for the average American citizen.
