Asking a million dollars for a house in Kyle?
Kyle is a city a hour away from downtown, where the construction and retail workers live.

The I-35 corridor in Hays county has had almost no economic expansion over the last 10 years while central and north Austin have exploded (Apple, Facebook, Schwab, Tesla, Samsung, Google).

Kyle absorbed the ghetto people priced out of South Austin, and is now the cheapest suburb in the Austin metro. It has a pretty bad gang problem, too.

I used to love going to that boutique pie shop on main st in Kyle next to the train depot, but over the last 10 years, the crowd in that area has turned into the XXXLarge T-shirt/Face Tattoo crowd.
