So far I've found Elmont: $120,227: https://data.census.gov/cedsci/table...5Y2020.B19113B
Baldwin: $160,174: https://data.census.gov/cedsci/table...5Y2020.B19113B
Baldwin Harbor: $163,125: https://data.census.gov/cedsci/table...5Y2019.B19113B
Valley Stream: $130,061: https://data.census.gov/cedsci/table...5Y2020.B19113B
North Valley Stream: $130,981: https://data.census.gov/cedsci/table...5Y2020.B19113B
West Babylon: $109,815: https://data.census.gov/cedsci/table...5Y2020.B19113B
Westbury: $181,202: https://data.census.gov/cedsci/table...5Y2020.B19113B (is a walkable village with a black population that goes back centuries)
South Orange has old information for the CDP.
For Cheltenham, I found CDP's like Elkins Park: $100,076: https://data.census.gov/cedsci/table...5Y2020.B19113B
Wyncote: $195,337: https://data.census.gov/cedsci/table...5Y2020.B19113B
So, those are some other examples that came to mind right away. See, now you know I'm going to add more to this list...
Another thing to consider is that you can do this by census tract. An example is of this tract in the outer East Side of Syracuse: https://censusreporter.org/profiles/...6-onondaga-ny/ it has a black family income of $127,917(about 20% black):https://data.census.gov/cedsci/table...5Y2020.B19113B So, you can break this down to a smaller level and it can also allow you see areas of cities given a common narrative, that may not be considered otherwise.
Another adjacent census tract in the outer East Side of Syracuse that is 53% black alone(
58% inc. in combo) according to 2020 census information: https://censusreporter.org/profiles/...2-onondaga-ny/ this tract's black family income is $116,250: https://data.census.gov/cedsci/table...5Y2020.B19113B So, again, even the mid sized cities can have areas with a legitimate black middle class presence.

Nearby major employers besides Syracuse University and Le Moyne College are, Bristol Myers-Squibb:

among some others...
Also, both are in/largely in a zip code(13224) that is a middle class zip code with one of the highest black percentages in the region outside of the Bos-Wash corridor and has a high educational attainment in general and for its black residents.
So, this may be a sleeper area/option for those looking for a substantial black middle class family presence in the Northeast or within a Northeastern city.
I'll try to do something similar for other mid sized areas in the region or if anyone else knows about similar areas, they can post them as well.
