It used to be whenever I gave someone a rep point, I got a message that said "Thanks for increasing this user's reputation." Now I don't get that message, and if I hit the rep key again, because I wasn't sure if it worked, I get a message that tells me I can't increase the user's rep more than once. I know it's really not a big deal, but I like the original way better.

maciesmom, I just increased your rep, and I didn't get the message (the "Thanks" one). Oh well, at least you got more rep points!

I didn't notice until you mentioned it that I was no longer getting those.

Moderator cut: off topic I don't understand why some people get that message and others don't. I know it's really a minor thing, but it still bugs me.

When I hit the quick rep link I get the message - only time I don't is if I want to make a personal comment about the post I'm repping. Though like another poster mentioned, sometimes it does take a couple of seconds for it to pop up.

I get that message on some of my computers but not all of them. Thought it might be the computer.
