Can we have a non-traditional family subforum? To discuss topics rlevant to step/blended family parenting as well as other non traditional families like granparents who are raising their grandkids.

I am happy to discuss these topics in the main forum. In fact I welcome them.

Obviously there needs to be respect of each others points of view but for me one of the good things about this forum is seeing parental styles and life styles and opinions that are quite different from what I experience dat to day.

I agree. I find that I rarely look at the subforums (ie Pregnancy) even though there might be threads there that I would be interested in. I just don't think of it though. I don't think we need to splinter into so many subgroups.
