I have never found out how to do this, b/c I always wanted to know what was being posted/quoted by some of the folks who like to give me a hard time, lol.

But the baiting is getting old and I figure . . . if I don't SEE the posts, then I won't feel the need to further explain, clarify, whatever . . . so maybe it would be a good time to use the IGNORE feature.

I don't know how to set it. ???

Anyone clue me in? I am sure it is simple to do.

Thank you!

1. Write down the person's name or right click on it, choose View Public Profile and then copy it to your clipboard.
2. Click on your user name at the top of the screen next to Welcome
3. Click on My Settings
4. Select Edit Ignore List from the right hand side under Settings & Options
5. Manually enter or paste the name of the person

That's the way I do it, but there may be a faster way than that.

Ignore List:
How do you put someone on your ignore list

click my settings
scroll down on the left side til you see
Settings & Options
click Edit Ignore List

This feature will allow you to ignore there posts but if they are quoted you will see there posts in the quote.
This feature will also prevent direct messages from that member.

This is also explained in the FAQ section located in About This forum.

Its worked for me for a couple years Ani. You'll still see their posts if someone quotes them though.

What Sunny said. I've "ignored" a few people and you can always undo it. Too bad there's not a "slap" function...
