Unable to attach .jpg file

I uploaded a pic on a thread (a .jpg file) which I later deleted. Now I try to attach it again, and I keep getting the message "You have already attached this file in thread "
I get this msg inspite of having deleted all my attachments ..
I tried renaming the file , deleting cookies, and logging out and logging in to my account again..Nothing seems to work ..
Mods please help

Ok, let's see if I can explain this without being too wordy. First, go to "My Settings." In the Control Panel on the left side margin, you'll see at the very bottom "Attachments."

Click on "Attachments" and after the page loads, you'll see the list of the pictures (or items) you've attached during your time participating at this site.

Check the attachments you want to delete. The check box is on the right side. Click on the "Delete Selected" button and those attachments you checked will then be deleted.

Go back and start over with adding whatever attachments you want to start adding again.






edit: oh wait, you said you already tried this deletion process and it still won't let you attach the file you want? hmmmm, well disregard what I said then.

Yes, I already did all that and I have zero attachments now.. Still I keep getting the same message..

What did you do to fix the problem?

Yes..I can upload the file now..
Lol..how and what did you do ? Like I said, I had deleted all my attachments too, but couldnt upload it

I deleted them from the admin panel. Must have been a glitch because there had been four of them, I think. You're welcome.
