Edit button disappears after a few minutes. Please Fix. I often go back to improve old posts or to delete one that might be really bad.

I should be able to Edit threads and Edit or Delete individual posts.

If this isn't fixed I'll just stop using the forum. This highly unnecessary and severely limiting limitation over one's own content is uncalled for and I will find another forum which allows me the appropriate freedoms (well, every other forum on the internet allows it).

Sorry, you only get a few minutes to edit before it shows you've edited. Up to,.. I believe about an hour and a half to edit total. After that only a mod with good reason can do it.

When you own your own you can do as you wish!

SATX56 is correct - you have 90 minutes in which to edit or delete your post before it becomes immutable. That should be more than ample for any tweaks you might want to make to your wording.

I've posted at places that have unlimited editing.

It often leads to hundreds of perfectly good threads getting holes punched in them when a poster gets into a snit and deletes the text of EVERY post they've ever made at that place, for no other reason than pure spite.

I like that that's not an option here.
