Multiple 'Authentication Required' pop up dialogs on CD

This morning I notice that logging in to CD or visiting any forum thread or even just typing in a comment results in one or more annoying pop up windows with the title 'Authentication Required' (screenshot attached). Canceling the dialog windows (sometimes as many as five in a row) results in a poorly formatted page with all the picture elements missing. None of the functionality seems to be affected

Is any one else experiencing this problem?

PS: I am using Chrome browser in incognito mode. This is how I have visited CD forever and I have made no changes to my environment.

Today when I entered the CD website or the forums and try to navigate to different areas of the forums, I get a popup box asking for a username and password and the message states "BS reports - authorized access"

What is this? Does anybody else experience this?

It's happening to me, too. It won't load a lot of images, too.

It says:

Authentication Required

The server https://pics3.city-data.com:80 requires a username and password. The server says BS Reports - Authorized use only!.

(Exactly like that, including the exclamation point and period.)

Then there is two boxes for the username and password.

And then Log In and Cancel buttons.

I can't see how many of my posts are read daily, etc. And the box keeps coming up!

I keep pressing cancel and I agree it is pretty annoying. Don't want to put in my information because I have never seen this before.

Coming up every few seconds. Tried entering my own username and password but nothing happened.

I can rep - I just repped the OP! - but the box keeps coming up and it is making it extremely difficult to maneuver around.
