Yesterday and today, when I try to rep someone, nothing happens when I click on it. Like it's not clicking anything. I can then click it 10 times to see if it will catch and no warnings pop up about repping more than once. Do I rep too much so someone turned it off? Did something change for the southwest area of the country? This inquiring mind wants to know.

Hi Pink. This has happened to me of recent. I refresh the page, and then it works. Try that and see if it works for you.

Must be a bug in the system

Happened to me yesterday.

A new browsing session seemed to resolve it though.

There have been a lot of bugs in the site recently. Hopefully, all will be resolved soon. Reps have been working fine for me today.

Guys, again, make sure that you have https in your browser url line, not http. If that doesn't help, see if your browser accepts pop-ups from CD. Some Firefox updates, for instance, have been known to disrupt such settings. Also, rep-refresh-see the numbers. Even without the pop-up the points should have been added if you got the first issue right.

I also am frequently unable to provide rep points. Maybe one will work then the next won’t, perhaps 2 minutes later. It gives the perception that some posters are jinxed? This happens with both rare and frequent posters. I get a pop up with options like do i want to read this later, open a new tab, etc.

Hope this bug can be fixed. Yes i have https. Chrome.

It may be due to several reasons. For example, banned posters can't be repped. Not everyone shows Banned as their user title, sometimes we leave the Senior Member badge if they ask for it. Also, you can't rep the same people before you spread the points, you can only rep a certain amount of people at a time, etc. Another easily missed issue is that sometimes the rep takes but you get no confirmation. If you refresh the page, you can then see the rep number of that person go higher, even though it looked like you didn't manage to rep them.

And, you can have https on some sites and http on others. If you're using some previously saved links, make sure they're all updated.

Thanks Marka. I tried to rep you and again got the box of options. But i do tend to rep posts with well presented responses, so maybe part of my problem is too many in a given amount of time.
