Linking a thread in another thread

I was about to post a link to a thread in another thread.. I was wondering if that was against TOS?

I been doing pretty good.. Don't want to screw up now.

Between certain forums it's problematical. Great Debates for example does not want to be overrun with the vitriol common on other sub-forums.

It depends. Is it on topic? (Rhetorical question). It is difficult for this to be answered here in this forum. Best to ask the Moderator of that particular forum.

The Administrator of City-Data set up a different standard for Great Debates participation. I ask that anyone considering participation in Great Debates would first read the rules, which are posted at the top of the Great Debates forum, and abide by them.
