I do not know how messages appear on a PC, but on Mac it can get kinda chaotic. if there are very many messages exchanged between the same persons. By the time 4-5 posts have been written the reply button is at the bottom of the screen.

If you could place a reply sticky in the general area of the preview message and submit message, it would surely stop a lot of extra scrolling.

You mean Direct Messages, right? In that case, it's the same on a PC and I don't think we can do much about it: it's the software layout.

My advice would be to cut out part of the message in the replies, so that you don't quote everything every time. Also, in the editing box, you can use this icon: to decrease the size of the box.
