I found the site interesting. I didn't intend to ever go to the forum, but there was some trivia/statistic type things I thought maybe I could help with. I used to be pretty good at College Bowl before the whole College Bowl system collapsed.
I was originally attracted to the local forums for local discussions about the city. Than I found the City vs City forum and saw how so many people were bashing the south and making false generalizations about Florida. I found it fun to argue with those people, most of whom know nothing about it.
I am attracted to cd because of the good moderating that allows me to confidently let my grandkids read some of the threads..
IMO it is the cleanest, safest forums on the web
