I get the concept, and I see that you can click on the bottom of any post to give favorable feedback, but it seems some folks send a message with their rep points ("well said", or whatever)
Is there another way to send rep points than just clicking inside the actual message, at the bottom?

In a post, there is a line under your username that by default says "Member" or "Senior Member" but some folks have their own text entered instead. (This is different than the Status line) How do you change that?
Go to My Settings (top blue bar), then go to Edit your Details on the left (it should be the first option). It's the "Custom User Title"... first option you see!

How do you get the medal and have less reputation points? Does it start over once you get one?
You don't have fewer rep points, it's just displayed differently. Each "star" represents 1801 rep pts. Then you start over with the tally marks until you obtain another 1801 pts and another star ....and so on and so on....
