Cape Town has been voted the most desirable city to visit in a UK journal, Daily Telegraph.
Having just returned from a visit to that city I can understand why. It has one of the most beautiful locations in the world.
There is a good feeling at street level with an edge in places.
Of course there is crime but not to the extent some suggest. One takes precautions such as a taxi back late at night and not appear to be too flash.
Great countryside outside CT as well. Place full of European tourists,Germans and Brits more numerous by far.
Anywhere in the world, where tourists flock to, I avoid! I'll wait on Cape Town, until I have assurances the tourists have all left to find another favorite city to visit!

I'll go to the next city down the road!
It's only gonna get worse over time. You might as well visit it now, before it really gets bad.
Cape Town is my favourite city in the world, totally addicting. Been often, and living there is a dream.
Also visiting is not an issue even with tourists! The city is a thousand square miles, with a population of about four mil, so it's really open and uncrowded. Except for the two weeks between Christmas and start of second week in Jan you won't even notice it except in a few obvious spots. Most beautiful city in the world.
