Kenyan officials have arrested the owner of a Chinese restaurant in Nairobi — after it stopped most Africans from entering after 5 p.m.

Even journalists from Kenya’s biggest newspaper, The Daily Nation, were turned away. “Only taxi drivers or Africans accompanied by Chinese, European or Indian patrons are allowed into the compound,” the article said.

"Keep in mind that between 1 million and 2 million Chinese people have moved to Africa in about the last 15 years."

Regarding a Chinese in Africa with a 'No Africans after 5pm' policy.

Well, two questions. Why is he in Africa running a business then? Maybe its a front for something else?

I don't care what reason it is. Right is right and wrong is wrong. If any person causes a problem, let that person take responsibility.

It's kind of stupid. Going to another nation, and then telling the locals "you aren't allowed here", it doesn't make sense.

Agreed. If an patron, or specific patrons are behaving badly, kick those specific individuals out. Don't make an entire ethnicity pay for the stupidity of some.
