You really don't understand the self-inflicted socioeconomic and corruption issues of Africa at all. Perhaps brush up on your history of Africa and it's exports with European countries.

EU is not going to save Africa, ever. Stop blaming outside forces for the problems of Africa. Stop expecting welfare, handouts, and special treatment from the same countries who exploit Africa at the first chance.

What part of Europeans don't care about Africans don't you understand? Did the Scramble to Africa not convince you Africa was on its own? What part of African government corruption and African militia/rebel sabotage don't you understand?

The EU has a negative impact on Africa farmers? Shocking! It's almost as if Europe just doesn't care and that no amount of begging for welfare or change of policy will change anything. But you just have some weird mindset where the EU will come save Africa.

African countries need to make technology and innovation a strategic priority from the standpoint of a world-view that Africa can invent and innovate, and must do so in order to liberate itself from the oppressive dominance of globalisation.

But an African analysis of the development of the continent is essential to lay the sound foundations of the future Africa.

Also because these institutes are too often under political tutelage, leaving the suspicion of a possible lack of neutrality. That's a shame. Would you prefer to see African produce? I am sure you would. I always wondered whether we will ever see African countries with thriving economies up there alongside the biggest nations in the world. Is it due to corrupt governments in Africa that countries there aren't seeing the kind of advancement people would like?
