Currently, prices for fully-furnished three-bedroom houses in Accra range from US$100,000 to US$500,000 – about 15% higher than in rest of Ghana.

Absolutely not. They treat gay people worst than animals there. I did take an ancestry test and it said I’m part Ghanaian decent so I wouldn’t mind visiting briefly though

Interesting answers so far.

yes, one shouldnt be gay in westafrica, not only in ghana.

20k house,.... LOL believe your numbers. realistically, if youre on a budget, and outside accra 55.000 to 65.000 will get you a house, prices upwards open.

Ghana is booming at the moment and much safer than America so yes I would no problem living there for a year. After that year airbnb it out and get passive income and continue traveling. No way I'm staying in one country for 90 years

Note that I said "any house I ever lived in". If I wanted to live in Ghana and won such a prize, I would immediately sell it, and live on a small fraction of that according to my style.

i see. as im going to raffle out a house next year for free, and its a "bit" more than 20k i will have to make sure that win and sell off wont work. Because that is not the intention i have with what im doing.

Still apreciating further opinions.

That's unfortunate to hear. I'm not gay, but if that's how it is, then I wouldn't want to be in a place that intolerant anyhow.

My cousin had to give up a very nice home in Cape Town because he travelled a lot and couldn't stay in pace with the upkeep.
