How to order/ship w/in Nairobi, and pay from US (travel)

I'd like to be able to purchase and ship some electronics to a friend in Nairobi.
It's been (1) quite difficult to find an online resource that is local to Nairobi, where (2) my US-based credit cards work.
I've tried resetting my credit cards to "travel," but the purchases still fail to go through, and I haven't found any online sites that support Paypal. I can use WorldRemit to send an M-Pesa payment, but the online stores don't handle M-Pesa in the same way as a direct transfer.
