I'm not sure about how close to immunities you'll be, but otherwise I would look at Jackson Township/Belden Village, a suburb northwest of Canton. It's right inbetween North Canton and Massillon and there are several exits off of I-77 there. It's safe, has good schools, and a multitude of yuppies.

Good luck!

I would sooner live in Wooster, but it is the most rural and sleepy of the three choices. Massillon is an armpit IMO, so that leaves N Canton, which is definitely the most urban, with the most amenities.

I don't think Massillon fits the needs of the OP, (I agree with SquareBetterThanAll that Jackson/Belden is probably what the OP is looking for) but what makes you say this?

North Canton is the most SUBurban. Massillon would be the most urban of the bunch. If you consider that urban.

FWIW, Massillon gets a "walkscore" of 94. Walk Score of 23 Lincoln Way East Massillon OH

Wooster gets a 98.
Walk Score of 212 East Liberty Street Wooster OH

North Canton gets a 55. (Not sure if this is the "center" or not, though.)
Walk Score of 101 North Main Street North Canton OH

I think they are all fine places to live. But I'm not sure if one is more "upscale" than the others. Also, my idea of "upscale" is different from most, these days.

This is my idea of "upscale:"

Jackson. Wooster is basically a small town/semi-rural.
