Hello everyone, I'm looking to relocate to Columbiana County. I'm from Charlotte (love it) I have visited the area 3 times. My job will be in Boardman if I decide to take it. I'm not trying to compare it to charlotte Just wandering is it an area for a 30 year old male looking to raise a family, Churches and things to do. Thanks for your info.

Columbiana County is pretty family-oriented. You won't find all of the options you'd find in Charlotte. The first place I'd steer you to is the village of Columbiana; the housing is nice, the schools seem decent, and you're not too far from Boardman.

I grew up in Columbiana County. Don't know what you're after in terms of things to do; it tends to be a pretty sleepy place, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. You would be close to Pittsburgh and Cleveland if you need an occasional city fix.

If you move here make sure you rent first so you can decide if Columbiana Co. is a good fit for you. You can live pretty much anywhere in the Mahoning Valley and be w/in a half hour drive in Boardman and there are a lot of options.

Slowly back out of the Akron forum. It's no where close to Salem.
