We're about to move within the same city, and we're quite overwhelmed by all the moving options.

We will be taking a garage full of stuff with us (like cupboards and Almirah).

The houses are about 6-7 miles away.

I think it would be 2 round-trip max.

Should we hire workers independently from the truck or would the bundle be cheaper?

How much should we expect as moving cost? (Just to have some kind of idea.)

How much time do you have? We are moving as well, but will be doing the work ourselves. We have lot's of time to work with, so I would rather spend the money on something else. As long as you have a truck, van or hatchback, it's usually pretty easy to do.

We don't have any trucks/vans as of now.

We have to move before August.

You said you're doing it yourself. What about really heavy stuff like cupboards/almirahs?

We would DEFINITELY like to cut cost.

Since no one local to Akron has any recommendations, you might try re-posting to this CD forum:
https://www.city-data.com/forum/general-moving-issues/

Also, provide more info
Can you drive a UHaul yourself ??
Can you handle a 2 wheel dolly for cabinets, etc
Do you only need help to load/unload ??

FWIW, UHaul has a listing of "helpers" at:
Moving Help® - Moving Services in or near Akron, OH 44310
