using 14-2 (for sale, house, installing)

I returned the 12-2 I had purchased and used the 14-2 i found I already had laying around the house to run to my driveway entrance brick pillers I am building (run from my outside box to the driveway entrance about 75' away). I will be installing a light on each piller, along with an automatic gate opener kit (I see them for sale on-line as a plugin type; will simply be installing an outlet on each piller). Did I do wrong, or will I be ok with the 14-2. I've buried some of the conduit already, but havent completed the pillers and still could change it out, just would hate to go to the extra work if I don't have to but am now second guessing my decision to go cheap and use what I had instead of the 12-2. Thanks for any/all advice. Ron

3 questions they might ask,
1)did you plan on this circuit to be tapped off an existing house circuit, or have a new breaker of its own in the panel ?

2) is one pillar fed from the other, or does each have a "home run" to the house/"outside box" ?

3) do you plan to use any outlets in the pillars for weed whackers, Xmas lights, etc ?
