Hope someone on this board can give me some suggestions. My parents live in a suburb of Akron and are needing to move to a retirement community in the Akron/Cleveland area. I live in NC and will be up there for one week in early November to look at possible places for them to live. A decision needs to be made quickly due to health issues. Does anyone know of any good quality pay by the month facilities that you can recommend? Please help me if you have any ideas at all. I'm afraid to make a wrong decision and have them living so far away from me. I've tried to get them to move closer to me in NC but they refuse to move south and leave their friends in NE Ohio. It's impairative I find something near Akron or Cleveland soon. Hope you can help.

I'm not sure if they're pay by the month or not, but I've only heard good things about Rockynol on W Market. It's in a nice area of Akron, convenient to Summit Mall, grocery stores, etc.
