I'm looking at some properties in and around Akron, OH for investment. I live in CT/NYC and am looking at multi-family apartment buildings in the 5 unit to 15 unit range.

Akrons economy isnt doing that good right now i can say that its still doing a lot better than Youngstown though. Akron doesnt have any really bad areas of town but areas right around downtown arent the best. Also near West Akron and a few other small areas are know as bad parts of town. Northwest Akron is a nicer part of town with more rich people. Akron has pretty low housing prices right now so it would be easy to find a good deal since its a buyers market. The only problem I see is trying to get people to move into the places, Akron has been losing people not gaining people.
