well, lets see, there is mills, aronvill and beula hights, the "ghettos" in foley, those may be why the crime rate is high, aronvill has its own police station, and it is only a few blocks wide. however, I agree that there really isn't that much crime, as long as you avoid those areas and places close to them you should be ok

I'm not really familiar with Foley, but I would recommend that you consider Fairhope--neat place.

Thats the best news i heard today. I wanted Fairhope for the last two years when looking for condo. realtor found a great deal at this condo . We are signing on dotted line tomorrow.I found out today that there are 19 units for sale . main reason. Owner sets his own rules,charges you what he feels like if he thinks you damanged shrub when in all reality the pest control man did it. older lady with cancer told the pest control man not to spray her apt due to cancer med's. he went and told the owner and the pest control man returned and sprayed her home. horror stories in the last 15 min. stalker. one women reported "if you like to be stalked then more here
