Insurance for 16 yr old male with excellent grades?-i know you cant give me an amount that insurance would be for a scion tc but i was wondering if it was expensive? i have excellent grades and am responsible i know the insurance co dont care. my dad looked into a pontiac g6 and said it was too much to insure, im guessing the tc will be more but i wish i knew how much more, i have a job interview monday and i know i could help pay for insurance until next year when my mom graduates college and gets a job. thanks! and is it cheaper to drive manual vs auto when it comes to insurance or doesnt it matter?

Try going online to car insurance companies, they should have a fill in section where you can get a quote, or call your parents insurance company and ask them how much more it would cost to be put on their plan and of course they will ask you a fw questions. Make sure your parents are there to answer any questions that you might not know, and its cheaper to be put on a plan that your parents already have, if you go seperate and get your own insurance it will be way more expensive, especially for someone of your age.... hope that helps some and safe driving!!!
