Lived in Alabama my entire life and have never heard of it but a year or so ago someone told me about some fruit loop that claims he and a few friends have been interacting with a family of Sasquatch (aka Bigfoot) that live on creepy mountain. However, no matter how hard you search; you can't find any mention of where this place is located and it also does not seem to be on any maps. Sounds like a few people need to be on some medication to me.

Maybe Br'er Rabbit knows. Or maybe it is near Brigadoon or Erehwon or Utopia. Storytellers need mythical places.

I've lived here all my life and never heard of it. But I'll look in to it.

Thanks Tourian ... may be just what some local folk call a nearby hill but I will appreciate your efforts.

Seems dijkstra got it right.

Out of curiosity, I googled & found this:

"Creepy Mountain is a 20,000 acre private property located in AL. Myself and a few others research a 5,000 acre portion where a group of Sas live. I created this channel to share audio evidence from our interactions. We have since captured thermal footage and are working to get even better footage."

Here's the lad's YT site, if interested. If you're a believer, he may answer a few q's for you directly, such as where exactly it's located in AL, although since it's private property, a visit might not be welcome. In any event, I love a good mystery. Happy researching...

Also, here's an interview with Adam of Creepy Mtn Research (of the YT channel above) on BlogTalkRadio:

And, here's a blog, which doesn't seem to have many stories or been updated since July 7, 2010, but, it's a start & provides basics:

Just google 'creepy mountain alabama' & it brings a lot of results.

P.S. Here's another interview with Adam, stating it reveals one of the areas in which he shot audio/video. In two places I saw varying locations... one said central AL, one said eastern. Maybe Adam will clarify!
