just FYI, i think this thread is intended to be for announcements outside of the Birmingham, Huntsville, Mobile metros. basically the parts of the state not represented in the subforums.

Westwater Resources approves $202 million to build Coosa Graphite Project


Construction of a graphite processing facility in Kellyton is moving forward.

The board of directors of Westwater Resources Inc. (NYSE American: WWR), a battery-grade natural graphite development company, has approved $202 million in funding to allow the company to begin the first phase of construction on the Coosa Graphite Project.

The plant site, which consists of about 73 acres near Alexander City, is located within the Lake Martin Regional Industrial Park.

So rumor has it that Buc ees is planning another Alabama location. There's really only a few location left that it would logically go, my guess is that it will go to either Tuscaloosa or Between Mobile/Montgomery, maybe Evergreen
