As long as the Democratic Party in Alabama only tries to solidify and attract the Black Vote, it will never be a force in this state!

I see that the Alabama Democratic Party is still uninterested in actually winning seats.

I'm moving to Alabama because the state hasn't gone loco like NY State. Dems once again trying to use the race card.

That the Alabama Democratic Party is in such a state of dysfunctional ineptitude is what I call "comeuppance" for upholding Jim Crow and promoting identity-based terror for all those years.

Good riddance, and may they forever rot.

People like that started leaving the party 60 years ago and started calling themselves Republicans. I don't believe that you or anybody else truly thinks today's Democratic party still has those same core values from that timeframe... but I guess that's why today's GOP likes to call itself the "party of Lincoln" to try to make people believe they care.

Irrelevant. Lincoln and his party can rot too.

Nobody can point to the exact date when both Democrats and Republicans met on a figurative bridge and agreed to switch political platforms. This would have been the day the Democrats denounced the confederacy, racism, and slavery and handed their ideals and values to the Republicans so they could become the new generation of the “old Democrats”. What date was this transfer?

There was no switch. George Wallace, Bull Connor and the other segregationists continued to be lifelong Democrats. Alabama's legislature remained Democrat-controlled until 2010.
