My husband and I are looking for a home in Hazel Green. I know it's North of Huntsville, but about how far? Is Hazel Green too far for a good job? If anyone has any info that would be fantastic! Thanks!

Hazel Green is basically a suburb of Huntsville about 10 miles north of the city. This area is highly educated, high tech, defense and military. You can find good work.

that area of huntsville is relatively affordable housing wise and is a short commute from downtown and research park I'd say 10-15 minutes depending on time of day. its growing... lots of new subdivisions going up.

I have lived in Hazel Green for ten years and I love it. There are always jobs in this area and it is really growing. In 1960 it had a population of like 150 and now it is like 5,000.
