I am looking for some kind of apartment, basement, trailer, etc. to rent for the hubby and myself in Mobile. Neither of us have great credit history and always get turned down. We make pretty decent money now, but cannot find a place to live. We've been living in hotels so it's been hard to save money. We both work in Azalea, Government, Demetropolis area and would like to stay in that area. Any information would be greatly appreciated. We would like to keep the rent to a minimum if possible ($550 max). And since we have been living in hotels something furnished would be even better. Thanks!!

Sometimes you buy a trailor for say 500-1000 dollars outright. Is this an option?

jjojobean, call around the trailer parks and the dealers and ask if there are any "pullouts" available AND if they know of a place that accepts them. You'll need to pay for the placement and the park rent, but that might be a possibility for you.
